Dark Souls 3 Runs At 900P On Xbox One

Detailed testing from Digital Foundry, published via Eurogamer, suggests that Dark Souls 3 will only manage a resolution of 900p on Xbox One hardware. The PlayStation 4 version of the game is able to maintain a stable 1080p. As a result, the Xbox One version will have it resolution upscaled on HD displays, at the cost of some detail. Digital Foundry also found some framerate stuttering that apparently causes the title to drop below 30 FPS....

Dark Souls 3 S Deacons Of The Deep Are A Prime Example Of A Long Running Fromsoftware Gimmick

The Deacons of the Deep themselves aren’t always seen as the most interesting fight in some playthroughs, but it does stand out when comparing Dark Souls 3 to older games. Most notable of these comparisons is to the multiple group bosses that can be challenged in Dark Souls 2. RELATED: FromSoftware Still Hasn’t Topped Dark Souls 3’s Slave Knight Gael Deacons of the Deep as an Ensemble Boss It is nothing new for FromSoftware to pit players against multiple bosses at once, although it is rare for that number to top out at more than three enemies in a single arena....

Darkness Effect In Minecraft 1.19 Update

While exploring the darkest and deepest depths of the Overworld, unfortunate players will discover deep dark caves, a new cave biome coming in the 1.19 update. This biome is devoid of mobs as only the warden can spawn here, which requires a player nearby. Deep dark caves and the warden will bring a level of Minecraft horror with the darkness effect. A recent experimental snapshot for Java Edition added the darkness effect....

Daryl Morey 76Ers Executive Not Confident Of Ben Simmons Trade Before Deadline

NBA League Pass: Sign up to unlock live out-of-market games (7-day free trial) “I think it’s less likely than likely,” Morey said of a Simmons trade coming about ahead of the February 10 trade deadline. “I hope that I’m wrong, it won’t be for a lack of trying… It takes two or three to tango and trades are difficult to construct in this league.” The ongoing saga seems no closer to a resolution as Simmons continues to sit out games for Philadelphia, and the team remains firm on its desire to get back a top 25 player for the three-time All-Star....

Daily Fantasy Baseball Notes Fanduel Draftkings Hitter Sleepers For May 11

As you might expect, the most obvious numbers-driven stacks of the day are in Colorado, as both the D-backs and Rockies get to pick on mediocre pitchers (Robbie Ray and Chad Bettis). First pitch is scheduled for 3:10 pm ET for that game, so if you want in on the action, get your FanDuel and DraftKings’ lineups set early. If you want to be contrarian during the early slate, go for a Blue Jays’ stack against Madison Bumgarner....

Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks Starting Pitcher Rankings Advice For May 28

The pitching is very deep today, whether you’re looking to pay up for an ace or go cheap. It reminds me a lot of trying to select a QB in NFL DFS most weeks. Difference is, the mid-tier pitchers are much more volatile than those mid-tier QBs, who can still give you big points in a bad game (and rarely get yanked during a rough start). MORE FANTASY: Prospect rankings | Waiver wire On days like this, I try to find ways to afford an ace....

That is where our advice is going to carry us – after the stack of the New England Patriots, of course. The prices at the big DFS sites tend to be much more favorable for the teams who are not favored to win, and – most important – the ownership percentages of those “dogs” tend to be lower, making for nice plays in guaranteed prize-pool tournaments (GPPs). We have a little of everything in this week’s picks, but the “dogs” shall lead the way....
