Winston announced his departure from the college game Wednesday, leaving a giant question mark under center for Florida State in 2015. After voicing his distress with the situation, Dockett reached out to Ohio State signal-caller and possible transfer Braxton Miller.

Miller was expected to challenge for this season’s Heisman Trophy before suffering a season-ending shoulder injury in the preseason. However, the emergence of backup quarterbacks J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones might mean Miller wears a different jersey next season. Dockett hopes Miller will trade the frigid Ohio climate for a sunnier vibe in Florida.

In the meantime, Miller is in the meeting room with his Buckeye teammates preparing for Monday’s meeting with Oregon for the national championship.
