The incident allegedly happened during Sheamus’ return match on SmackDown, the one where he was accused of being reckless with Bryan. Everyone knew he was banged up but the concussion wasn’t diagnosed until later, and that’s why he had several matches after the fact.
Bryan has now had several diagnosed concussions in his WWE career. Couple that with his injuries, and the company may be reluctant to ever move him back to the top of the card.
