- Mike Trout has seven hits, including two homers, in his career against Bartolo Colon.

- Nick Markakis is 17-for-38 (.447) with five extra-base hits in his career against Mark Buehrle. Teammate Adam Jones (9-for-23) also has Buehrle's number.

- Michael Brantley is 5-for-11 with a pair of doubles in his career against Jose Quintana.

- Neil Walker (10-for-24, five extra-base hits) and Jose Tabata (13-for-26, four extra-base hits) have owned Kyle Lohse in their careers.

- Chris Carter is 6-for-11 with a pair of homers lifetime against Martin Perez.

- Yadier Molina is 12-for-23 with five extra-base hits against Edwin Jackson. Teammate Allen Craig also owns Jackson (7-for-15), so maybe this matchup is what he needs to break out of his slump.

Sell ’em

- Jose Bautista has managed just one hit in 19 career at-bats against Ubaldo Jimenez.

- Giancarlo Stanton is just 3-for-18 (.167) with seven Ks lifetime against Kyle Kendrick.

- Howie Kendrick is just 1-for-19 lifetime against Bartolo Colon, and Raul Ibanez has managed just one hit in his past 14 at-bats against him.

- Don't be surprised if Jonathan Lucroy gets a day off. He's 1-for-12 lifetime against Charlie Morton.

- Derek Jeter (2-for-14), Brett Gardner (2-for-12) and Ichiro Suzuki (2-for-13) are hitting a combined .154 against Felix Doubront.

- Dan Uggla is just 1-for-15 lifetime against Gio Gonzalez, but it's worth noting that he has drawn eight walks against him.

- Justin Smoak is 1-for-10 with six Ks in his career against Scott Kazmir and has a .364 SLG against lefties in his career.

- Adam Wainwright is always an intimidating pitcher for your players to face, but several Pirates, including Russell Martin (9-for-22), Neil Walker (7-for-21) and Jose Tabata (6-for-19) have fared pretty well against him. Andrew McCutchen has really owned Wainwright, hitting .419 with seven extra-base hits against him.

- Despite striking out 12 times against Jorge De La Rosa, Adrian Gonzalez seems to mostly enjoy facing the Rockies' southpaw. He's 12-for-32 (.375) with three homers and two doubles against him.

- Joe Mauer has hit .371 (23-for-62) with seven XBH in his career against Justin Verlander.

- Starlin Castro is 7-for-16 with a homer and a double lifetime against Wily Peralta.

- If Paul Konerko has anything left, we might see it today. He's 10-for-20 with two homers in his career against David Price.SELL 'EM

- Pedro Alvarez is one of the Pirates who hasn't had success against Wainwright. He's just 4-for-21 (.190) with eight Ks against him.

- Nate Schierholtz is known for killing righties, but he hasn't been able to solve Peralta. He's hitless in 14 at-bats against the Brewers' starter.

- Trevor Plouffe has been solid for fantasy owners this year, but they'll probably want to sit him against Verlander. He's just 4-for-24 (.167) with seven Ks against him in his career.

- Brett Lawrie (4-for-25) and Colby Rasmus (3-for-15) are not recommended plays against Jon Lester today. And don't be surprised if Jose Reyes (1-for-16) gets a day off.

- Alexi Ramirez has managed just four hits in 23 career at-bats against Price.

- Dustin Ackley (1-for-19) and Kyle Seager (3-for-19) don't like seeing Matt Harrison back in the Rangers' rotation.
